But like you said, it truly gives you the opportunity to discover so many things about yourself. Long-distance has been on of the most rewarding experiences & I've grown so much as an individual. I couldn't agree more that communication is absolute key!

My husband of nearly 19 years and I were long distance through college. It sucked being so far away from each other BUT we were able to grow as individuals and gain the independence that many of my college classmates did not. If you are committed and willing to make sacrifices it can pay off in the end.

I love this post. I’m in a long-distance relationship right now, and this is by far the best relationship I’ve ever had. It’s hard to not go to sleep by his side every day, but it gives me the opportunity to live by myself and discover more about me. You know, when you find THE ONE, distance isn’t a problem, just a minor inconvenience. Communication is the key <3
